Her racial politics, at least as reflected in that film, remain deplorable.   </description>

		<description>I was disgusted with the stereotypes in this movie and I was disappointed in Jodie Foster.  I was even more disappointed when I learned she has credentials as executive producer.

At first I didn&#039;t understand the casting.  Her fiance&#039; is not what one would expect for a Caucasian woman, so I looked for some plot-related reason for it.  It soon became apparent that it was a foil all right--a foil so the protagonist herself would not appear racist.  

Your points are on target in this review which I found, btw, by Googling &quot;Jodie Foster racism.&quot;</description>
